HIPPOWASTE™ sets up new HQ at 1000 Lakeside in Portsmouth. Since Hippobags were first launched back in 2002, Hippowaste headquarters have been based in Titchfield, Fareham. Having now grown to become a national provider of waste management solutions, the need for larger premises for our office based team became evident and 1000 Lakeside in Portsmouth ticked all the right boxes. Located adjacent to junction 12 of the M27, at the gateway to Portsmouth, the new premises offered the perfect solution, with excellent facilities and good transportation links. HIPPOWASTE continue to break records with 500,000th collection - The Hampshire based, national waste management company, HIPPOWASTE has reached a major milestone after collecting half a million of its instantly recognisable yellow HIPPOBAGs™ from construction sites, offices and homes all around the country. The 500,000th bag milestone comes despite one of the toughest times for the industry when, despite the recession of last year, the company has actually witnessed some of the best trading days ever in its six year history. In June 2009 over 14,000 HIPPOBAGs were booked in for collection. |
